Will Hampton is an LA-born freelance audio engineer. His clients include film/tv composers, bands, singers, songwriters, and music production companies. He attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, and graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Music Production and Engineering in 2010. Will then interned for Bill Schnee, at Schnee Studio, during the launch of Bravura Records. After that, he became first call engineer for Emoto Music in Santa Monica, and tracked and mixed a wide range of genres, from rock to big band to orchestral. Today, Will continues his work recording and mixing music for film, television, trailers, and bands/artists. Current and past clients include Tony Morales, Opus Orange, Emoto Music, Ryan Elder, Peter Wolf, Hampton/Adair, Matt Bowen, Lyle Workman, and Brian Green.​

 

In addition to tracking and mixing, Will has been wiring and maintaining both commercial and home studios since 2004. He is experienced in all aspects of studio wiring from patchbay design to custom cable installations.

 

​His spare time consists of mountain biking and cooking extremely spicy food.
